Welcome to the official website of the Guildford Smoke recreational Ice hockey club. Here you will find information about the club, training schedule and game schedule together with the current club roster, player profiles and stats. Also you will find a Guildford Smoke picture gallery  and desktop goodies page along with a coaches corner containing drills skills and tips for hockey players. We have also included a links page with some links to other sites of interest and some pages containing other hockey related information. The club is first and foremost a recreational club, in other words we play for fun. Players must be aged 18 or over to join and must wear full protective equipment at all times. We train and play non checking games but will play checking games with any team who prefer it. We are open to challenge matches both home and away with any other recreational team wishing to play us. We train on saturday nights from 23-15hrs to 01-00hrs. The club does not operate on a turn up, pay and play basis so prior permission is required to attend training sessions. New comers are allowed two visits at which time they must join the club if they wish to keep training with us, this is registration with the EIHA and third party insurance. Training sessions usually consist of 45 minutes of warm up and drills and then 1 hour of scrimmage time, this however is not rigid and may vary. Any one interested can email us or simply come along to watch and have a friendly chat.

The team train at the Guildford Spectrum leisure Complex in the United Kingdom. Guildford Spectrum is located in 26 acres of landscaped parkland,just off the A3, close to the town center on the North side of Guildford. it has ample free parking and excellent public transport access.
